The media is really blasting away at one of the most powerful healing techniques ever invented. All of a sudden, sports' celebrities are being called upon for questioning to condemn the use of a COMPLETELY LEGAL, FDA APPROVED TECHNIQUE! American doctors who aren't trained to administer "blood spinning" are provoking attacks on a Canadian doctor, Tony Galea, for helping numerous athletes recover from injuries. They are obviously attempting to discredit this Miracle Doctor for his role in helping injured athletes get back on the playing field.
Does insurance cover it? NO! Is it taught in American medical schools? NO! Is it beastly expensive at $1500 a pop? YES!
It's about time that our medical establishment starts embracing non-surgical methods for healing. We must learn to honor the body's capacity to self-heal, and discover alternatives to surgery. One can only hope that an era of holistic medicine is on its way, and that the medical community will engage the body's innate resources for healing.
I was inadvertantly pulled into this controversy when my doctor informed me that he recommended I receive double hip surgery. Since I'm a senior, it could have been a no-brainer because the operation is FREE! But I refused this treatment knowing that with alternative methods and physiotherapy, my body would heal itself and that I wouldn't need surgery.
So I sought out altenative treatments and found a New York doctor, Dr. Lionel Bissoon, who administered the PrP shots. Adding intense physiotherapy sessions at Central Park Physiotherapy answered my prayers! To watch me walk these days, one would never guess that just a few months ago I was told to have surgery.
I sincerely hope my story inspires you to seek out alternatives to standard medical procedures. By doing this, you will have the opportunity to usher in a whole new way of life for yourself. A life in which you partner with holistic doctors and alternative health care practioners to live a life of resplendent health!
There are miracles out there to be discovered...seek them out.
